West Malling, East Malling and Offham Conservatives have launched a campaign to support the extension of the Green Belt to prevent inappropriate development in places that will erode the historic, green boundaries between East Malling and West Malling.
The Green Belt is an important planning protection which, if granted, means that new development is only permitted in exceptional circumstances. By extending it, we will not only be protecting our unique and distinct communities, but also conserving much-loved green space for future generations.
Please support our campaign to demonstrate the level of support for extending the Green Belt as Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council prepares its new Local Plan. We would like to see as much of the area between the eastern boundary of West Malling, the western boundary of East Malling and the northern boundary of Kings Hill become part of the Green Belt.
