Tonbridge, Edenbridge & Malling Policy Forum are delighted to join with Chatham & Aylesford to discuss if the UK needs a new Bill of Rights. We will be joined for the evening by Victoria Atkins from the national Justice & Home Affairs Sectoral Group
Our nation has a proud tradition of protecting the rights of our own citizens and those in other countries - the discussion will ask for your views on whether the current system is working, or whether the time has come for the United Kingdom to re-state its commitment to guaranteeing human rights by creating our own Bill of Rights.
The meeting will take place on Thursday 25th July at the Wealden Hall beginning at 6.30 and ending by 9.30. Victoria will introduce the session and take questions from 6.30.
As usual, the evening will then debate detailed questions over a bar meal and drink.
