“I am pleased to welcome Cllr John Balcombe to join the cabinet and take up a new portfolio of economic regeneration. One of our key priorities is sustainable regeneration and economic development, we work closely with the business community in a variety of ways and have been successful in attracting inward investment, most notably to support the rural economy. I am confident that John has the skills and experience to further strengthen our focus in this very important area.”
