The speaker this year will be Tom Tugendhat MP, who will report on his first six months as our Member of Parliament and also speak about Jeremy Corbyn's recent election as Leader of the Opposition.
Tom Tugendhat MBE was elected Member of Parliament for Tonbridge, Edenbridge and Malling in May 2015 with a majority of 23,374. Since being selected to stand for the Conservative Party, Tom has worked tirelessly to meet as many constituents as possible as well as businesses, societies, charities and to understand all the local work that is done by volunteers. Tom has been campaigning for improvements to be made by Southern Railways, campaigning against Gatwick expansion, campaigning for more flood wardens, campaigning for the A21 dualling.
Tom sits on the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Select Committee.
