A message from the West Kent Campaign HQ.
In May this year there are important elections in Kent and throughout the South East. Here in our home county there are local elections in Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone as well as a county-wide vote where we hope to elect a Conservative Police & Crime Commissioner in place on Ann Barnes. In London Zac Goldsmith is fighting a Corbyn-backed Labour Candidate, Sadiq Khan, for control of our capital city. Victory in all elections is vital.
There are two things you can do to help:
As part of the campaign we need to hand-write over 80,000 envelopes. These will be delivered to known Conservatives a few days before polling day stressing the importance of voting Conservative. We hand-write the envelopes as by the end of the campaign people are weary of printed election material and a hand-addressed envelope at least gets opened and read. Hand-addressing 80,000 envelopes is a huge undertaking and we need the largest possible team to help get this done. The envelopes will be available to collect from our Campaign HQ in Paddock Wood in mid-February and you will have a full four weeks to write and return them. I am afraid we will need you to collect them from us as there are just two of us in the office and we do not have the resources to deliver across Kent. If you can help by writing 500 or 1000 envelopes please click HERE and complete your details.
The second thing you could do is offer to help at one of our two "Back Zac" Campaign Days. These are on:
Saturday 27 February
Saturday 26 March
We will be survey canvassing and delivering leaflets in Sidcup. If you don't have a car we will do our best to arrange a lift. If you can join the team of volunteers from West Kent on one or both of the above dates please register by clicking HERE
Thank you in anticipation of your help and support
