Our local MP, Tom Tugendhat has been spending a considerable amount of time working with the Post Office to secure their commitment to Tonbridge. It was a huge disappointment to him, and so many, that they have left their unit with WH Smith. He has campaigned for a proper Post Office in Tonbridge for years, and is very grateful to Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council (TMBC) for providing space at Tonbridge Castle in the immediate future.
On Friday 2 September 2022, Tom will be joined by our very own TMBC Cabinet Member for Economic Regeneration, Cllr Vivian Branson, as we hear from the Post Office in a public meeting at the Angel Centre. I hope you will be able to join them both. The meeting will start at 7pm.
