180 years ago, the railway arrived in the town of Tunbridge, as it was then. For nearly two centuries it has shaped our town and the way we live.
From replacing the Medway Navigation Company in 1911 as the primary route for the movement of trade and goods down into the town, to the commuter lifestyle and ease of connections to the capital and the coast we still enjoy today: the railway has left a lasting impression on Tonbridge.
Your local Conservative team wants to celebrate that and build on our railway infrastructure. That's why we are asking for your support on our campaign to make Tonbridge the home of the new Great British Railways.
Please sign and share our petition, supporting Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council in its bid to make Tonbridge the heart of our railway network for decades to come.
